On the other hand, nurses' mental health is a determining factor in increasing labor productivity and, consequently, providing better and more effective services to patients. aim of this study was to evaluate the mental health of medical staff in high-risk pandemics. Methods: This is a Systematic review study in which researchers searched potentially qualified articles in PubMed, PsycINFO, Web of Science, and SID databases to review the literature. For this purpose, the keywords infect "," COVID-19 "," Pandemic "," Mental Status "," Health Personnel "," health worker "," Medical Staff "," Physician "," Nurses "," high Risk " Latin databases and their Persian equivalents were used to find related articles in Persian databases. After reviewing the quality of articles using the Prism manual and applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 12 articles were selected and the results were reviewed. Results: After reviewing the studies, finally, the problems of the health care staff, including lack of confidence in infection control methods, exposure of the medical staff to infection, and consequently the stress of transmitting it to their families, high perceived stress following the problems mentioned. There has been burnout and emotional exhaustion, insomnia and depression. Discussion and Conclusion: Due to the existence of mental health disorders in nurses, during several pandemics in various countries, the need for special attention to this segment of society is determined, because if these problems are not addressed, the health and well-being of the country is weakened and it will not be able to deal with the pandemics ahead.
